FORMERLY THE "PEOPLE'S
CHOICE TROPHY"
You spoke and we listened.
We had heard that the People's Choice Night in 2006 left some
visitors concerned about "ballot stuffing" by drivers
bringing along several "extras" to vote for their car. And we
agree that's
not really cricket.
So we have changed the rules and name of the contest. It is now the
Cruisers Choice Trophy! During the yearly
cruise season, Award Of Excellence trophies are presented to three
vehicles on selected nights. At the end of the year, ALL these trophy
winners will be invited back to our final cruise night. All winners
will be parked together and ONE will be chosen to receive the PEOPLES
CHOICE AWARD.
This year instead of everyone being allowed to vote, only cruisers
who arrived in classics will be given ballots for voting. This way it
eliminates any chance for ballot stuffing by friends and also allows
contestants to be judged by their peers. Ballots are counted and the one vehicle that receives the most
votes wins.
Photos of the winners of each Triple Trophy Night will be posted here
as well as the final grand prize winner, presented at the end of the
season. |
By attending our Friday night cruises, your image or
likeness as well as your vehicle may be photographed for inclusion on this
website.
